AWS has resolved the underlying issue. All Cloudability customer data has been fully restored and services are operating normally. No further action is required on your part.
AWS Status: Work to backfill corrected cost and usage estimates is ongoing but moving slower than expected. AWS has noted that accounts have already recovered with accurate data, and they anticipate all affected accounts will be restored by July 19, 12:00 AM PDT.
Cloudability Status: The Cloudability ingestion process is expected to finish 24 hours after AWS completes its recovery.
Unless otherwise noted, we anticipate full recovery of Cloudability data by July 20, 12:00 AM PDT.
Amazon has identified the root cause and mitigated the underlying issue causing incorrect estimated cost and usage data to be displayed in the Billing and Cost Management Console, and Cost and Usage Reports. Amazon has begun backfilling data to correct cost data for all customers.
AWS is currently reporting inaccurate estimated cost and usage data in the Billing and Cost Management Console, including the Cost and Usage Report (CUR). Because Cloudability ingests the CUR, cost and usage figures in Cloudability may be inflated or inaccurate during this window. This does not reflect actual usage or charges, and no action is required on your part.
